This is a game designed for the new pen-and-paper gamer. It will go a bit slow at first to get the players used to the game play style and familiarize them with character creation and dice use but will speed up as gamers become familiar with their characters.
Materials needed: Dice (a full set of polyhedral dice can be picked up at most hobby, comic, or game shops for around $7 or less), pencils (we suggest mechanical), an eraser, either a copy of D&D 3.5 Players Handbook or a flash drive for a PDF copy, and a general idea of the type of character you want to play. If you don't have everything first session- don't worry. We have spare dice and pencils. Character sheets will be provided.

Snacks are welcome and BYOB. No smoking inside. We have a cat and children, if you are allergic to either- let us know and we'll put them in the other room. Drinking is fine, but we reserve the right to steal your car keys or call you a cab. Children are welcome to attend. Please email for directions- you will never find this place on GPS.

Hello. I am very interested in joining your game, but need to be sure it wont conflict with previous engagements. About how long are your gaming sessions?

I'm not a new player by any means, but I love the game. I'm pretty flexible about what characters I could play (just nobody completely sullen and stoic, please); I mostly just want to jump into a fun group. Might there be a place for me?

This group is full for experienced players, but I do have an opening in my Friday game. I am considering running a second Saturday game for experienced players.

My niece will be in town, so I'll be bringing her with me. She wants to be an elf fighter. What level should I make her?

i love this last part "you will never find this place on GPS."

how many do you have for this beginner game?

    • Morgana

It depends on the week. On average we have between four and seven folks. My cut off is eight players.

And actually... the GPS part was for the old address. :) This place shows up about half the time on GPS.
