All,

For those of you attend the upcoming RPG BBQ being hosted by Jason and yours truly, I wanted to share the logstics as they stand thus far. All future communication should posted to this message thread. OK....here we go:

  • The location of the BBQ will be at Will’s house. For the specific address, please check any of the the Heart of One scheduled meetup locations. Since the message boards are relatively open to the public, I am not specifying here. Although I am not too worried about cyperstalkers or anything cool, so I am posting my phone number in case you need to contact me...248-318-1300.
  • The BBQ will start at approximately 3PM, but feel free to drop by earlier if you want to just hang out. Just let me know so you are not at risk in seeing my running around in my birthday suit...not that I do that or anything...I am a family man after all!
  • The BBQ will be handled Potluck style, which means that everyone should bring a contribution for our feast! Using the message board, post what you are going to bring. Please do this at least 3-days prior to the BBQ so that others can plan appropriately. This way we can avoid duplications. You can also email me this info and I can post it for you. And please remember to bring a quantity that matches our expected attendance (check the RSVP count for that information).
  • In addition to everyone's contributions, we will be cooking hamburgers, hot dogs and brats on the grill. We will also have plenty of beer, wine, margaritas, pop, juice boxes (for any kiddies that come), etc.

More info to come as we get closer to the event date. Let Jason or myself know if you have any questions.

I was thinking of making a fruit desert thingy (it's yummy)- and some snicker-doodle cookies (also yummy).

I'm going to bring three puff-pastry appetizers: one cup style with camelized vidalia onions and a sweet cheese (maybe ricotta, we'll see what they have), another cup style with ham and a sharp cheese, and a roulade with spinach, mushrooms, nuts, cream, and a few other things. Anyone have special dietary needs?

We can bring it up on Friday to everyone F2F. I think that each of the message boards clearly states to check here. We need to have some cohesion on this, i.e. info all on one thread, or we could have duplications, etc. Not sure how to make it any clearer. Almost everyone has responded to the MISCELLANOUS threads in the past, so DO think that people know it is there...I think it is a case of wait-until-the-last-minute'itis.

That is one of my favorite songs of all time. While that may be hilarious, it's not a joke. I'm dead cereal.

I'll bring some potato salad and/or some baked beans. If I have time, I'll machine a special box for Jason's dick. I'd better clear that with Vikki first though.
