Durham Comics Project: Drink & Draw

This is for those new to comics and well seasoned vets alike. The hardest part of making comics is often making the time to draw, so let's make that time together. I will come prepared with exercises from Ivan Brunetti's Cartooning: Philosophy & Practice, however, you may also just come to draw and work on your own thing.

The Drink and Draw is a branch of the Durham Comics Project. Durham Comics Project wants to capture the essence of life right now – small moments, big moments, moments that represent who we are as a community. We will do this by teaching our community how to tell their stories through pictures. Learn more at durhamcomicsproject.org

Hey Drink'n'Drawers! The new batch of pics is up on FaceBook. Friend me, if you haven't already, and then tag yourself and your drawings!

Amy does an amazing job of creating space for cartoonists to come out of there holes and draw together.

Sorry, there's been a change of plan. After Fullsteam told me I could reserve a table, they emailed me and said I can't reserve for after 7. So we'll just relocate to a place we know will have space for us. We'll be at the new coffee shop on Parrish St.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
