Durham Charity Motorcycle Club

For Motorcycle Enthusiasts, Responsible Riders, and Charity! Beginning riders to Advanced Skills riders. Solo, or with a passenger. Sport Bikes, Cruisers, Touring Bikes, Trikes... whatever has two wheels (or three). If you love fresh air and want an excuse to fire up your toy, come on out.
We won't be doing crazy tricks or racing each other. Rides will be every other Sunday as long as the weather is nice. Ideas for ride routes, and ride leaders will be appreciated. Each week we will pick a charity to donate to. Club will develop into a social network of members, each willing to donate time, expertise, and sometimes money to charitable events around the triangle.
Rides will begin at Streets of Southpoint Mall in Durham. Usual ride will be about 2 hours, with at least one scenic stop during the ride. A $5-$20 donation per rider, collected at each event will be pooled and donated to an agreed charity before the beginning of each ride. Club is being founded March 1, 2009 - first ride on March 8th, 2009.
