Theatre: Oh What A Night III (Broadway's hottest music)

  • Fletcher Theater, Progress Energy Center for the Performing Arts

  • I found a great deal for orchestra tickets for the 3 PM Sunday, August 25th matinee of Oh What A Night III at Fletcher Opera Theatre in downtown Raleigh. This production features some of the best songs of Broadway from such hits as the Jersey Boys, Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and more, together for an unforgettable afternoon.

IMPORTANT read carefully: The caveat is this is a Living Social Deal. These orchestra seats are normally $37 each. The deal is a 2 for 1, so basically you would get 2 tickets for $37 or $18.50 per person. So one of you would have to purchase the deal and the other pay the person back. I can only purchase 2 tickets so I unfortunately cannot purchase them all. BUT, we can all sit together if we bring our vouchers there to redeem together the day of the show. So, we would need to pair up. The easiest thing of course is to pair up with a friend but if you don't have one available for the event see below:

One way we could do this is when 2 people want to go (who have seriously RSVP'd), agree on the roles below...who will purchase the deal and who will pay the person or PayPal?

1- First have one of those persons pay $18.50 to the Triangle Arts and Entertainment Paypal account. This is to reimburse the person buying the tickets.

2- The other buys the deal for $37 and then I reimburse that person in cash the day of the event from the PayPal account. I know this is not ideal and requires a good deal of trust but it would be a great savings. I promise, you will get your money back. You could also create your own PayPal  or other account and have the person pay you directly. Whatever works.

This needs to be done quickly as I am sure these tickets will go fast. So please RSVP only if you are serious and state whether you are willing to buy the tickets through Living Social, be the reimburser, or are a +1 (buying on your own and bringing a friend). Also please use the link below for purchasing. If three persons purchase, I will get my tickets free and share that savings back with you....we will split the $37 that I would have paid.

    Purchase through this link below.....

Sorry this is complicated but I talked with both Living Social and the Theatre and this is the only option unless we each want to pay $37 for a seat.  I thought it worth a shot for a great deal. We'll see how it goes...if anyone is interested or this bombs.  I tried!

Also, potential for doing dinner somewhere after the show in Raleigh. Ideas on place????
