Art: Fused Glass Class

Wanna get a little creative? Join me for a fused art glass class! There's a Living Social deal going on for a 2 hour class at half price or $30 currently. You get to make your choice of a beautiful plate, small serving dish, or condiment dish with all the materials supplied that you will need.

These pictures are not representative of the choices (plate, serving dish, condiment dish), just showing fused art glass examples but they should be similar.

Classes are every other Saturday from 1-3 pm. I have talked with the instructor and we can all take the class together if we can agree on a date. Your voucher is good through March 16, 2014 so if you cannot take the class with the group, you can always do it on your own. I will do my best once I know who has the deal to schedule us all together.

You have to purchase this deal through Living Social. If three of you purchase through this link, then I will get my deal free and split the savings with the three of you so everyone comes out ahead. That would make the class around $23 a piece for those three. I will have to pay you money back at the class for this discount. I purchase these deals all the time and they are legit.

Here's the link:

If you are reluctant to purchase through Living Social, I can purchase more on my account. Just let me know, you would then need to pay first through the Meetup's Paypal account and I will buy your voucher. You will not get a discount though.

Produce a polished masterpiece that will be fired, shaped, and shown off to friends and family with this deal:

• $30 ($60 value) for a two-hour fused glass class
• Create a beautiful plate, small serving dish, or condiment dish
• All materials included: colored pieces, stringers, dichroic accents, and more

Hello everyone, Just letting you know that I will not be able to host the fused glass Meetup this weekend because I need to travel to attend a funeral on either Friday or Saturday. I am going to go ahead and keep the class on this day since everyone else can attend, I just won't be in attendance. I am sorry but this is a long time family friend, like a "second mother" so I have to go. If you know of anyone who would like to buy my voucher, please let me know. You all should be fine as there is an instructor and I am sure you all will have fun together. Apologies.....Jan

I have confirmed our six spots with the instructor and the class is full so we cannot add others. If you need to cancel, please cancel with the business and change your RSVP here and let me know. Do this ASAP please. Looking forward to getting a little creative.

I need to let the instructor know the number attending the class or give up the seats. I have tentatively scheduled for Saturday, October 19th from 1-3. If that doesn't work, we can try another time but I need to know if you are serious about attending or not. The Living Social deal probably will end soon so please either let me know if the date is good and buy a voucher or change your RSVP to No. That way I can solidify things for the class.

Thanks and have a great holiday weekend!

I have reserved 6 spaces for the Saturday, October 19 class from 1-3 pm. Let me know ASAP if that does not work for everyone. The classes are filling up so I asked the instructor to reserve some space. We need 2 more people to purchase through the link for a discount also. Let me know if this date doesn't work!!!

Sounds great. RSVP depends on when, though.

We could aim for Saturday Sept. 21 but that is not guaranteed as if the class fills up with others before we have our numbers, not everyone will get in. If I know how many want to participate then we can work to set a date with the business. Also, if for some reason you cannot make the class with the group, you can take the class on your own so you don't lose your money. I have to have the numbers before I can book the slots. RSVP and say interested for now if you like and we'll see how many and try to set a date soon. This deal won't last long though.

Thanks, Jan. If it's a Saturday, that shouldn't be a problem except that I already have a commitment all morning on the 21st.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
