Open Wetlab Safety & Introduction Course

Want to do experiments in the Open Wetlab? Join the safety training in order to know your way around the lab.

We'll give you the ins and outs on how to work safely in a wetlab, walk through the lab, and provide instructions for working with our equipment. You will also learn about what is going on in the lab and some history of biotechnology along the way. The training starts at 19:00. It's also possible to have your DIY-dinner prior to the event, so bring your own food and we'll provide cutlery starting at 18:00.

This is a training for DIY-biologists that are interested in doing biological or chemical experiments on Tuesday night. Participants who want to do experiments at the Open Wetlab are required to do the training and successfully complete the test before they can start with their work.
