JEA: On Water Conservation

JEA: On Water Conservation Print Monday, March[masked], 7:30pm - 9:30pm

JEA water conservation specialists will be discussing their water conservation programs and tools available to the public to help conserve water. We will learn how to become a partner with JEA in educating people about water conservation and why it is such a good idea. Due to increased withdrawal and drawdown of the Floridian and surficial aquifers, it is important to conserve water for wildlife that depends on adequate water levels within wetlands, lakes, springs, and rivers. These aquatic systems are tied to the aquifer in Florida and have already been impacted in some areas. Conserving water also saves you money!

Location: Swaim Memorial United Methodist Church, 1620 Naldo Ave, Jacksonville, FL 32207 San Marco area
