Pinnacle and Pulpit Trailhead at Hamburg Reservoir (map)
Carpool departures : 9 am - Collegeville....9:30 - near Lansdale turnpike....or 10:30 - meet at trailhead (please select one).
Destination: west of Allentown, near Hamburg, Pa Included & what to expect: A mainly moderate 8 mile hike, partly along the Appalachian Trail, and awesome panoramic views of the farmlands below. One of the most spectacular vistas on the AT!
Price: $3....Pay upon arrival.
$9 gives you unlimited day hikes thru April 30!
To reserve: Reply by 3 pm Friday ....Directions sent AFTER this time.
Options: Explore the cave amid the huge boulders at the top....and/or....a 10 minute drive to view up close the 3 million year old boulder field known as "river of rocks".
Well behaved dogs are welcome!
