Dzogchen is a term for our real condition, our true nature. Dzogchen practice is a direct method for discovering our real state and abiding in it. This wisdom tradition is extremely ancient and was established in Tibet in the 8th century. Although commonly associated with Tibetan Buddhism, Dzogchen practice is not restricted to Buddhists. This is because Dzogchen is not based on a doctrine, creed or precept. Dzogchen practice works directly with the actual fact and personal experience of Being. So, anyone, regardless of faith, can benefit from these teachings.
