The park, which receives approximately twenty-five million visitors annually, is the most visited urban park in the United States. It was opened on 770 acres (3.1 km) of city-owned land and was expanded to 843 acres (3.41 km; 1.317 sq mi). It is 2.5 miles (4 km) long between 59th Street (Central Park South) and 110th Street (Central Park North), and is 0.5 miles (0.8 km) wide between Fifth Avenue and Central Park West. It is similar in size to San Francisco's Golden Gate Park, Chicago's Lincoln Park, Vancouver's Stanley Park, and Munich's Englischer Garten.
Join EWNYC as we take a Autumn walk through Central Park. The entire Park starting at 59th Street - to Harlem and back 59th. This is a great opportunity to use our camera and enjoy the park that has been New York's staples from the beginning.
We meet at: Columbus Circle - One Train to 59th Street (by the Water Fountains) at 1:15 we start at 1:30
