Nice one Jay, was happy to talk shop a bit too and do some user testing for Voxel.js. Perhaps folks who want the practice, can try to work on some JS Koans or something similar. We can all be available for helping folks get unstuck if they get stuck or giving feedback on solutions. We could even just put together a useful set of problems that consensus says are the required foundations of good JS hacking.

Fun to talk with everyone; I didn't type a single character of code :-). Might be useful to pick a specific problem to work on for the group from time to time. Having a short, specific problem would enable less experienced users to focus on an issue and would make it easier for advanced users to offer practical help. You could pick problems that address certain concepts like closure, inheritance, scope, array manipulation, Ajax, regular expressions, etc. A simple example might be: "Write a function using regular expressions that replaces all underscores with spaces in the string "I_love_regular_expressions". Or intermediate: "Write a function that uses an anonymous function to attach an event handler to all anchor tags. (Illustrate closure)"
Could occasionally have more advanced problems for advanced users; might be useful for beginners to see advanced users working out a problem.
Anyway, just some thoughts. Thanks much to the hosts!
