JS Study Group

Finally we're here!
Beginning Jan. 28 Oakland's Sudo Room is home to the East Bay Javascript study group that will meet Mondays from 6:30-9:30 pm. The study group is co-ed, all levels and informal. Bring what you're working on for a dedicated three-hour code dive. Sudo Room is located at 2141 Broadway in Oakland, across the street and a block away from the 19th Street BART station. NOTE: the entrance is on 22nd Street, however. Bring beer, snacks if you want and consider leaving a dollar at the door for our hosts. Here is a link with details.

Sorry can't make it this time around. Busy looking for some full-time work (just got laid off) - if you know of a JS / Front-End position send me a message!

Is anyone interested in doing a project together for the next meetup? It doesn't have to be a big project. I figure this might be a good way to advance our understanding for those like myself who have learned in a vacuum.

"tackling a specific problem" is fine with me.

Well I can bring my early-stage, homebrew, JS Canvas 2D gaming engine pet/learning project and get some free debuggin' help. ;) Just kidding (but seriously).

Maybe we can talk about a specific concept or tackle a specific problem this time. Could even do sub groups that deal with diff probs.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
