We encourage experimentation in all facets of the company; If you have an idea, why not try it out in practice? We work hard, because we believe in changing the world through great products, and are willing to undertake large technical challenges to accomplish our goals. We are also a meritocracy, so your contributions and vanquishing of problems will not go unnoticed or unrewarded.
What’s in it for you:

• Competitive Salary
• Equity, commensurate with your getting in at the ground floor
• Opportunity to try new things and grow into senior tech management role

I am looking for a ruby on rails developer who'll join me and team to create internal websites for VMware. We are a small web development/design team embedded in the Office of the CTO and am experiencing growth due to our reputation for getting stuff done... which leads to having to do more stuff.
We are focused on finding someone who can be a great backend developer (so RoR, Linux). We build various custom internal sites as well as working with pre-built PHP applications.
We currently build all custom tools on RoR, but to be perfectly honest, looking a few year ahead, we might be using other tools if they are deemed to be a better fit for the job (who knows, right? I mean, if you asked me 5 years ago, I would have said we're a PHP shop).
Anyways, if you'd like to join us, you can find more information here (http://lnkd.in/QH_UyC... ).
Cheers! And thanks for taking the time to read this.
