Presentation Abstract
Twilio is a service for building phone enabled application with an API that use your existing knowledge of web apps and web services. In this talk, with talk about what Twilio offers, how you can make use of it, and go through building a simple phone conference service using Twilio, Sinatra, and deployed live to Heroku.

Bio:
I am a Software Engineer at Involver, a San Francisco firm focusing on marketing in social media, I focus on the stability and scale of our platform. I enjoy learning about new developments in Ruby application frameworks, database technologies, and distributed computing. I also write a personal blog called In Valid Logic (invalidlogic.com) and am on twitter @krobertson.
