Presentation Abstract
We will go over the basics of getting started with chef and how you can get cooking with it on your own.  We will cover what chef can be used for, why it is useful no matter how many systems you have, and how to get up and going with it.  Also will demonstrate how you can spin up a new server, run chef on it, and deploy a rails application in just a few commands.

Bio:
Ken Robertson is the Lead Software Engineer at Involver on the Infrastructure and Operations team.  He gets the joy of utilizing chef daily to help manage the reliability and capacity of all their systems.  Ken also makes use of chef on the small scale to help manage his own personal projects, making them easier to manage and support.
