I don't mind recruiters so much as I mind posting a PHP gig on a ruby list. It shows that the poster has no regard to where they post the ad. It's like putting a steak ad in a vegan reataurant ;) Hell, I am mainly a PHP dev and I think that if the poster doesn't care about whether or not their ad pertains to the list, then I don't care about the poster.

Perhaps a good middle ground would be one posting per month. It's
worked well on other lists I'm on.
