Hi everyone, thought you would be interested in this upcoming MongoDB event, which will feature speakers like John Nunemaker (Ordered List), Les Hill (Hashrocket), and Emmett Shear (Justin.tv). There will be several sessions about MongoDB and Ruby, as well as a Ruby development workshop. Hope to see you there!

Friday April 30
San Francisco, CA

10gen, the sponsor of the MongoDB project, is organizing MongoSF, a full-day conference which will take place Friday, April 30 at Bently Reserve in San Francisco. Hashrocket, an expert web design and development group, is a co-sponsor.

MongoSF is an in-depth, multi-track conference exploring development with the non-relational, document-oriented database MongoDB. The conference features sessions on database internals, schema design, map/reduce, query optimization, replication, sharding, and more.

In addition to these topics, attendees can learn about MongoDB in the real world through a series of presentations about production deployments at Justin.tv, Boxed Ice, Punchbowl Software, and Harmony App.

Small, hands-on, language-specific development workshops will take place alongside the presentation tracks.

In addition to several of the MongoDB developers from 10gen, confirmed speakers include John Nunemaker and Steve Smith (Ordered List), Emmett Shear (CTO, Justin.tv), Les Hill (Hashrocket), James Williams (BT/Ribbit), David Mytton (Boxed Ice), Jason McCay (MongoHQ), and Ryan Angilly (Punchbowl Software), among others.?
