The focus of this group is advanced hands-on technology practice and furtherment. 

What This Is

This group is for advanced developers and engineers who wish to do higher level hands on activities with colleagues of our professions, get other points of view, and practice for professional improvement and development of ideas.  Those are the only criteria for affiliation with this group.

• Western Wisconsin Groovy & Grails User Group Meetings are hosted by ECTech.  WWG

• Eau Claire Java User Group events are hosted by ECTech. ECJug

• Team One Club events are hosted by ECTech.

• Ride-n-code and Co-working events are hosted by ECTech.

What We'll Do

We will have sessions to do programming, engineering, design and sometimes presentations and networking with other professionals. Our meeting locations will vary just to keep things interesting.

Others of Interest

We will support the private business and entrepreneurship with a drink and an opinion if anyone needs help in launching their business and needs a pie in the sky friendly recommendation.


In addition to this meetup site am email list is maintained to keep everyone on the group current.  Snce this is not a social group per other tech meetups, its focus is to stay lean, on task and maximize the time efforts of its participants.

There are very specific high-end social events for people of like minded outing interests. 

Coworking and Ride-n-Codes

One of the aspects of this group is a focus of doing work in many locations to help further the ideas of distributed and remote working skills along with collaborative ideas across domains.  Ride-n-code are events recognizing the get out and walk, or get out and ride, or get out and move actions needed to think on problems and discuss solutions.

The code of conduct is to be respectful, humble and non-egotistical while working on our solutions.  We remain open minded and non-degrading to all who share this respect.  Any animosity shown towards others in any regard will result in excommunication from the group and its events at the discretion of the organizer.
