Kick off meeting

This will be an organizational meeting during which we will discuss what each of us would like to get out of this group, what we can contribute, how often we should meet, what you would like to do at the meet ups, etc. Of course, we can't let the day go by without playing some music, so be sure to bring your voice and/or instrument. Keyboards will be available, so you don't have to lug furniture around. Bring something to drink and/or snack on.

I think there is a great deal of potential here. Sharing knowledge is even more valuable than sharing sheet music. I believe it will evolve into an informal process that will serve a variety of needs. I look forward to future meetings where we talk, share and most importantly, play music.

Sunday was kind of a crap shoot for me this week, and sadly, just too much else going on this weekend. Hope to make it in the future.

So disappointed I can't be there today. Hope to see you all in the near future!

Seems I have come down with a bad cold. Something I do not want to share with the group. That and the potential for some bad weather and road conditions made me decide to skip this meeting. Very upsetting. I was looking forward to this inaugural meeting. If you all do meet, know that my goals with the group are to form some groups to develop songs for performance or just for fun. Hopefully, this winter will finally end and our scheduling can get back to normal!

Have to miss this one after all. Hope everyone enjoys the kick off meeting. Cheers!

Perhaps someone from the Wilmington area can meet Donna around Rt 1 and Rt 202. In fact, if some of you could car pool together, it will reduce the number of cars here.

Is anyone coming from the Aston/Glen Mills/Media area? If so, I would appreciate following you as I am completely unfamiliar with Oxford. Thanks!

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you at our first meetup on Sunday at 1:00 PM. I've been working to clear my driveway of snow so there will be room for you. Please car pool if you can! We have yet another winter storm on its way, but the worst should be on Monday. I will post a notice here if the weather causes a problem, so PLEASE CHECK HERE BEFORE COMING OVER. Look for our "Elk Creek Music Society" sign at the beginning of my driveway. See you on Sunday.

Terry I can't be there for the kick off because I will be in Florida. Please know I am interested though and will make the next ones.

Due to a conflict with the PASA Winter Songworks, I'm changing the date for our kick off meeting to Sunday, March 2. I hope you can still make it.

Terry, Just realized (when putting on my calendar) that this is the same day as PASA Winter SongWorks.
