Who are the Elk Grove Jaycees? That is the question.

The Elk Grove Jaycees are looking for new members!

Are you interested in finding out who we are?

Then come out to our social next Thursday, Oct. 3 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm at the Starbucks on Biesterfield.

Essentially, the Jaycees are young adults (21-40) who want to build leadership skills while planning community activities. A few of the activities we are involved in include the Easter Egg Hunt at Jaycee Park, helping the Kiwanis with their Peanut Day, helping Santa answer his VERY important calls and the annual housing judging contest co-sponsored by the Village.

    The Answer:

The Jaycees is a civic group of young professionals between the ages of 21-40 whose mission is to provide development opportunities to empower young people to create positive change. The Elk Grove Village Jaycees invite members of your team to join our organization. Jaycees bring energy and insight to solving problems locally and around the world. By partnering with others, we create sustainable solutions that impact our community. We are part of a national and global network of young active citizens as part of the United States Junior Chamber and Junior Chamber International.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
