Electronic Music Production 101 - Extreme Basics

You could have a meetup that introduces complete beginners to very basics of electronic music production. For example, what the various programs are and what they do, what the basic terminology is, what kind of equipment is used etc. Most workshops expect you to know some basics beforehand. I think a lot of people would be interested and attend this.

Seems like there are lots of people like you on this meetup already making music so maybe a few people can team up to host this. I have no knowledge about anything in production but I can try and help out if needed.
I think first someone needs to takeover as the temp organizer of this group to make sure it doesn't shut down.

Micheal, thanks for taking charge of the group.
Anyone have any suggestions for a location? What kind of setting would be ideal? (classroom?, studio?) I'm going to try and help get this started.

the utmost of thanx Sharan!!! :D i'm going to see what i can whip up ASAP and get back to you. i think it may be best to bring all 3 of my group into one and have the body decide if we morph into one entity or stay 3 multiple groups!
