Lets DO IT!

All-day rock climb at Malibu Creek State Park

This six-hour itinerary allows us to explore deeper, more secluded areas of the park with some great terrain.  We will hike past the Planet of the Apes Wall (the site of our last climbing class - click here for photos) and to the rock pool where we encounter our first technical obstacle.  To pass the rock pool, we rig a line across a rock face and traverse 80' over water to the other side.  This brings us to some rock scrambling and then through a cave system.  A few minutes later our group will arrive at the main climbing site of the day: an 80' face with several routes of varying difficulty (for comparison sake, our routes on Planet of the Apes Wall were around 40' tall).  After some great climbing, we will reverse the approach (cave, to scrambling to rock traverse over water).  It's a full day of adventure sure to leave everyone dirty and smiling.

Please arrive 30 mins early to allow time for parking, meeting, and waivers.

Another epic day with lots of fun adventurous people! Thank You All for coming out there. As always is great to see some of you I have already met before again and meeting new people who are enthusiastic about climbing rocks and making new friends. :) The crew of guides from Treks and Tracks always points out what an awesome, fun and positive group of people come out to the great outdoors to learn from our meetups, so with that said - thank you all for bringing that great energy out there and being part of making these events such an amazing experience for everyone.
