Ziplining is a thrilling outdoor activity during which a rider wears a harness which is securely connected, via carabiner and pulley, to a cable suspended high above the ground. The rider then glides along the cable for a uniquely exhilarating experience.

The zipline tour includes nine zipline runs of various lengths, along with Pinzgauer (a 4-wheeled safari jeep type vehicle) rides to and from our scenic launch deck on the mountain, a walk across a beautiful suspension bridge, historical information about the area from our expert tour guides, plus all the equipment and safety information you’ll need to have a safe and exciting adventure.

Tour will last approximately 3 to 3 1/2 hours. You should arrive at our Big Bear Boulevard office and departure point 20 minutes before your tour time to watch an instructional safety video and to sign appropriate liability waivers. Vans will not wait for late arrivals.

Zipline tour will take you on nine different ziplines of lengths ranging from 120 ft.-860 ft.  Riders may reach speeds of up to 35-45 mph while ziplining. Ziplining is intended to be exciting and produce an adrenaline rush.  For safety reasons, riders must be at least eight years of age and must weigh 75 lbs. Riders must be able to fit into a harness that is 46" circumference around the waist and the upper thigh circumference is 31".  Riders must be in adequate health , Riders should not be pregnant, be free from back, foot, heart or respiratory problems.

Riders should dress appropriately for outdoor activity in the mountains. Riders must wear closed-toed shoes, preferably tennis shoes or boots. Long hair must be tied back at all times. Riders should also bring appropriate outerwear, and a sense of adventure!

Action Zipline Tours is open year-round, weather permitting. In the event that the tour is cancelled due to weather, we may reschedule or receive a tour voucher. No refunds will be given. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our tours, we cannot allow spectators onto the mountain.

Hey Jennifer, I don't think we mean to be ignoring you but, most are probably like me. I don't know the area at all. Is the place you mentioned on the 18?

    September 23, 2011

  • Judy M

Ok...my son just called...he says take 15 North to 210 East to hwy. 330 connecting to 18 Big Bear. Thats the only way everyone will probably be able to go. He said 1 1/2 hrs. He sent over the entire report, but to large to post here..road is completely torn up w/ a large hole other way.

    September 22, 2011

  • Judy M

PLEASE READ THAT UPDATE I JUST POSTED AS MY SON IS THE URBAN PLANNER FOR BIG BEAR & THAT WAS DIRECTLY FROM HIM...38 WILL BE CLOSED...DO NOT TAKE THAT ROUTE!!!

    September 22, 2011

  • Nia

Thanks Nancy for the information. Greatly appreciate it.

    September 22, 2011

  • Nancy

If anyone is thinking of coming up Highway 38 out of Redlands on Sat. morning call road conditions and put in the highway number. There was a big fuel/oil spill yesterday and they mentioned it might take them a couple of days to clean it up. Highway 38 was closed, you will need to stay updated. It's a long way back over to 330 and across the mountains if it's still closed.

Judy, Stacey, and I are carpooling from Rancho. There is still room for 1 more comfortably or 2 if we squeeze. If you have something more fuel efficient than what we r driving (SUV or a truck), then you are EXTRA welcome to join us! ;)

    September 15, 2011

  • Nia

Jenifer: With your message above. I assume you were able to
book your spot. If so...Great to hear you are joining us.

    September 15, 2011

  • Judy M

    Thanks Joe!

    September 15, 2011

  • Joe

I think Regina had the right idea by going to the map link above, then inserting your locations, which will give you a full step-by-step printout. Now there doesn't appear a need for Ann Marie & I to go to Rancho Cucamonga, so we're heading up the 91. With the extra 10 minutes we're probably stopping for a cup of java at Starbucks :) Any others on the way, please speak up. I have room for two more coming up the 91. (Ann Marie, I hope you like strong coffee.)

    September 15, 2011

  • Judy M

Joe, im going to just head out w/ Regina since shes in Rancho anyhow...can you PLEASEEEE put up directions via HERE for ALL to see??? thanks so much ; ) Also...is anyone else interested in carpooling???? and NO Regina..JUST ME ; )

    September 15, 2011

  • Judy M

Right next to fwy too...Im going to also send you my # via email. Lets ask Joe to put up directions HERE..for all..hes already done the mapping. He said we need to leave by 9 am from Rancho..to get there 1/2 hr. early to sign papers..GOOD?

    September 15, 2011

  • Regina I.

Judy, I don't know rancho that well so, just tell me the place and we will meet you. Is it just you or is someone else coming too? I also have not googled distance yet so, I don't have a specific time we should meet? Do you know? If not, I will investigate this weekend. Thanks again for how well you kept us working on creating carpools. :-)

    September 14, 2011

  • Judy M

Well your headed to the 15 anyhow right? Let me know & i can just meet you at any establishment near the fwy as im right next to the fwy off foothill.

    September 14, 2011

  • Judy M

Well Regina, i may just go w/ you then if you are coming into Rancho anyhow..what is the exit your getting off on, or where might your g/f's house be located..maybe i should just drive there instead of going backwards myself down the 15..leaving that for others on Joes route...let me know..whatever is easiest im for it! ; )

    September 14, 2011

  • Regina I.

Hey Judy! You are doing a great job keeping us organized and communicating. Thanks. :-). I can comfortably fit 2 more people in my truck or 3 if we squeeze or everyone is little. I live in Corona but, planned on driving to Rancho to pick-up my plus 1. People from Corona are welcome to join me if they don't mind the detour or anyone in the Cucamonga area are welcome.

    September 14, 2011

  • Judy M

Regina how many fit in your car? REMEMBER ev.1 if you carpool...pitch in a little $ for gas...its only respectful & considerate to do so...If we all carpool..what does ev.1 think about meeting at 9am at Cosco??? I think it is WAY easier than picking up at doorsteps..yes?

Judy: I am not familiar with Big Bear. But I am thinking about going to a restaurant after the tour. Sure don't want to eat something heavy before the dour :). Will give details as to where later on. It is also up to the members if they want to bring something to eat. Always a great idea to bring water and some snacks.
