We will meet at at Central Park on the corner or Millikin and Baseline and head EAST, on the Pacific Electric Trail - a nicely paved dedicated bike path, through Rancho Cucamonga, Fontana and all the way to the our half/way turnaround point - The edge of the Rialto border.
The emphasis of this ride is to get a little exercise and socialize with our friends, old and new. This is not a race, or training ride, and we will leave no one behind.
This is a relatively flat ride that should not pose a problem for most riders.
After the ride there will be an optional brunch/lunch at one of the Rancho Cucamonga eateries.
MILES: 18 round trip with very slight grades and some street crossings.
DIFFICULTY: Easy to low moderate depending on your conditioning and bike riding experience. This is a "no one gets left behind ride", not a race. We will ride at an easy to moderate pace.

Rose and John, thank you for another wonderful bike ride, even in the rain!! Love this group and all my friends!!
January 26
Woke up to no hot water this morning. Messing with water heater now, but if I don't make it you'll know it's serious.
January 26
There is expected to be a brief shower tomorrow earlier in the morning then partly cloudy skies. Be prepared for some drizzle. See eveyone at the park!
January 25
Hi there, Rose, are you still having the bike ride or are you cancelling due to rain. My hike cancelled and if it's ok I'd like to join last minute??
January 25
BTW Analia you may want to check your meet up schedule. I notice you are double booked on this ride and Melissa's...You probably should make a decision as to which ride you want to attend and drop off one. :-)
January 24
Passing showers or a sprinkle or two won't cancel the ride, but we do not ride in steady rain. As of now the chance for showers in RC for Saturday is 40%. As you all know, weather patterns change and we really won't know what the weather will be like until late Friday evening when we can get an hourly forecast. Either way, we probably will meet at the projected time at Central park and make a last minute decision based on conditions at that time. At the very least, we can have an awesome breakfast meet-up!

Hi! Is this even weather permitting? Looks like lots and lots of rain, I don't think I can ride in the rain....
January 24
Yes, we are meeting at the central park parking area, more details in a last minute email by Friday with phone numbers of event hosts. We would have missed you if you didn't catch that Glenn. :-)
January 21
Glad you sent out that last e-mail. I would have shown up at the 3rd street parking lot wondering where everyone was! I guess you have to read these things through even when you THINK you know what they say.
