Ajay went to Pushkar in India for the fair, and took some fantastic photos. I love the portraits of the people that he captured. Just the first 2 images in the Pushkar gallery are wonderful people shots.
Pushkar Fair is held annually in Rajasthan, India, and draws visitors from all over the world. Ajay's Pushkar gallery is at http://openframe.photoshelter.com/gallery/Pushkar/G0000L3UojE7_OBA/
While you're there, browse through his other galleries, and read his blog at: http://openframe.co/2011/11/importance-of-samwaad-and-other-musings/.
His intention behind the blog is to engage fellow photography enthusiasts in a dialogue to discuss aesthetics and technicalities. Get involved in the conversation, Ajay has shared a lot with us and there's so much to be gained from the interaction. And who doesn't like a good conversation? ;)
I have invited him to do a presentation in December on his trip, and to share his thoughts on photography. I am looking forward to it already.
