Really Nice! What are your settings?
Thanks all, it was taken with Nikon D800E, 16mm, F8, ISO 50, 63 seconds exposure.
i have D90 but why i don't have ISO 50?
The D800 is both a high end and brand new camera, it has features the D90 lacks. That said, you don't require an ISO of 50. When you set your Nikon to anything below 200 ISO the result is software-interpolated, which will affect sharpness and image clarity. The sensor is designed at a hardware level for ISO 200, anything lower is "simulated" in software. I'm not sure if this is valid for the D800, but certainly for the D90 generation of sensors.
Good work Abu. @Chandra, as explained by Lloyd, the D90 goes down to ISO-200 the lowest and the clarity at that evel is very good due to the hardware design of the sensor. For this kind of photography with a D90 your settings would be full manual mode and manual focus at little short of infinity with F8, ISO200 and a shutter speed between 2" - 5" depending on the blasts. The key to fireworks photography is to capture the first few launches since the ones captured late tend to have a lot of smoke in the background.
@Abu, you surely got almost all the show with 63 sec speed:-) the show was hardly 1min or so. Great shot!
wow!! great shot Abu..got a good location.
thanks lloyd and rizny.
