What do you hope to accomplish through Toastmasters?

My goal is to continue to improve my public speaking & leadership skills.

Is public speaking important for your work?

Public speaking isn't important in my current work role, however, having strong public speaking skills can serve you in many aspects of life

Does public speaking make you anxious? Nervous?

Sure, that's normal. The more I practice and utilize skills I've learned to manage the anxiety the better it gets. Toastmasters has done that for me.

I am the[masked] president of Eagle Toastmasters in Wallingford. It is a great club consisting of enthusiastic members. The club serves as an opportunity to practice your public speaking & leadership skills in a supportive environment.
