Balancing East and West: Cultivating Eastern Practices into a Western Life

As we look at two more of the opposites on the medicine wheel, we are delighted that Acupuncturist and Herbalist Mary Nicosia will be our guest presenter as we explore more deeply the directions of the West and the East.

Balancing the energies of the West and East can unveil an amazing process of deep reflection and letting go in order to birth a new perspective of the grander scheme of our lives. By developing awareness on how our energy flows in relationship to nature and our world, we can connect on a larger scale to more abundant energy, peace and health. We will spend the evening doing practices that strengthen our awareness of our qi or energy and develop new ways to build energy for our day by invigorating our qi channel systems.

Mary Nicosia, is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist with her Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from AOMA. In her private practice, Big Sol Acupuncture PLLC, she incorporates acupuncture, acupressure, Chinese and Western herbs, plant spirit medicine, gemstone therapy, and medical qigong. Mary practices out of Sol Healing and Wellness Center and Toci, Toltec Center of Creative Intent.

Please RSVP for our Meetup July 8th at 7 pm at Toci. We get together the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 7-8:30 pm at Toci.
