Workshop: Denver Bicycle Cafe - Tire Planter

Workshop: Denver Bicycle Cafe

Tire Planter

Hosted by: Mike Wird w/ Denver Earthship! - Follow on Facebook!

Alright Earthship volunteers get your gloves on and put your smart phones away 'cause this one's going to be a great learning experience! We'll be joining Mike Wird with Regenerative Lifestyles and Denver Earthship to construct a tire planter for the Denver Bicycle Cafe!

Donations: Accepted and without a doubt, very much appreciated. This helps pay for various things like fuel expense used to gather building materials. Donation's are not a requirement. We will have a designated donation location when volunteers arrive whether it be a person or locked box.

Game Plan: Join us April 7th from 9am - 4pm to learn the beginning basics of Earthship construction. Learn how to pound tires and form can walls from Earthship Academy graduate Mike Wird! That's what it's all about! Sharing ideas and knowledge to help others learn new things!

Directions and Parking: Denver Bicycle Cafe resides in downtown Denver on the south side of 17th street between Humboldt & Lafayette. Depending on your location there are hundreds of ways to get to the shop. Please refer to the map to choose your route. Parking can be a bit of a headache in this area because of the popular location but you can always park nearby and walk or ride your bike!

Dogs: If you decide to bring a furry counterpart please make sure the weather will suit their paws. We would recommend pets be left at home, but in the event this proposes a dog sitting issue, please be able to leash the pet safely and close by.

Attendance: It is not required that you stay for the entire event. Even one or two hours of your time is greatly appreciated!

Don't Forget: Gloves / Chapstick / Sun Screen / Water Bottle / Hat / Sunglasses

Weather: Perfect forecast! Weather will be sunny to partly cloudy with 0% chance of precipitation and little to no wind!

Thank you all and keep spreading the Earthship positivity!

Hey guys! If you can bring extra tires, bottles and gloves it would be very much appreciated! Also - anyone that has a sledgehammer should bring that too! Depending on how many people we have attend from the facebook group in addition to our meetup attendees, we could very well utilize a few more sledge hammers!

    See you guys on Sunday!
