Workshop: Mini Cob Cottage 200²ft. Garden Shed

Coal Creek Canyon, Golden CO

WE NEED ALL THE HELP WE CAN GET

July 27th @ 10AM

Hosted by: Kim Evans [masked]

Spring Fever!: Are you interested in construction using natural and sustainable building practices? If you're familiar with Earthships, consider learning about cob cottages as well! We will be assisting Kim Evans and friends construct a 200²ft. miniature cob cottage garden shed on her property in Golden, CO. We will help work on the cob portion of her build. If you'd like to learn how cob works, how to mix it and how it's used - come join us!

Directions and Parking: This time around we will meet at the coffee shop in town right across from the propane facility. After our crew meets there we will all drive to the site 5 minutes away and park our cars on the pasture area.

Attendance: If you cannot stay the entire day - no worries. We'll take any help we can get! Bring your kids and show them how to place cob glob's!

Food: Please bring amenities for your lunch. You can break for lunch at anytime you'd like.

Dogs: If you decide to bring a furry counterpart please make sure they play well with other dogs. Service dogs are always welcome!

Don't Forget Necessities: Work Gloves / Lip balm / Sun Screen / Water Bottle / Sun Hat

That was a kick butt turn out! We had 13 total people show up. 5 from ESC, two from Colorado Cob and the rest from Kim's facebook group. Nice work everyone!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
