And learn about the upcoming Earthship Seminar with Michael Reynolds, in Seattle on September 20, 21, 22.

What: Movie screening of Garbage Warrior, preceded by an intro by Jenny Pell and a short presentation by Earthship Seattle, and followed by Q&A.

When: Friday August 16th, 6:30 pmWhere: OM Culture, 2210 N. Pacific St., Seattle WA 98103

Schedule:

- Socializing and potluck, starting at 6:30 pm

- Intro by Jenny Pell and short presentation by Earthship Seattle, starting at 7:00 pm

- Movie "Garbage Warrior": Get inspired by Earthships and their creator, Michael Reynolds, on his quest to share with the world a concept that can revolutionize green building. Earthships reduce the stress on the planet by not burning any fossil fuels, and they reduce the stress on the owner by not generating any utility bills. Less stress, more freedom, no more pollution!

- Q&A with Earthship Seattle.

Earthship Seattle is a group of volunteers who see Earthships as one of the best solutions for a sustainable future. They aim to raise awareness about Earthships in the greater Seattle area, build an Earthship in Seattle for public use and for demonstration purposes, and facilitate the creation of free, happy and healthy off-the-grid eco-villages. Some members have recently attended the Earthship Academy in New Mexico, a 6-week training on building Earthships.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
