What attracted you to Earthship Biotecture?

I am attracted to the simplicity of the design; the ability of a lay person to perform much of the work using repurposed materials that were headed to the landfill. I like being free to choose from diverse geographic locations to live without the concern for conventional grid connections. I'm also excited about the idea of helping one another build sustainable homes; freeing ourselves from reliance on energy sources that pollute and water systems that are wasteful.

Hi. My name is Miriam Whatley. I have been in the environmental permitting field for over 24 years and want to use these skills to help those starting earthship communities. We are just now starting an Earthship group in Las Cruces NM.
