This will be a classroom style meetup limited to 25 participants.
We will go over the basics of what makes a good exposure and how each part of the exposure triangle affects the others. We will also look at the built-in light meter in your camera. There will be basic instruction followed by a Q&A session as well as a mini-shoot to help you apply your knowledge.

This is going to be a good session for beginners and intermediate users who are interested in learning to use their cameras in full manual mode versus one of your DSLR's program modes (Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, Automatic, or various scene modes). Photographers of all levels are welcome to join us as well.

What to bring:
Your camera and your camera manual
A shoe-mounted flash (if you have one)
A notebook (if you are so inclined)
Any questions you already have about exposure
Light snacks and beverages will be included.
I really enjoyed the presentation, it was excellent. It was good to meet new folks and find out that I'm not the only one who doesn't understand some of these things.

This was by far the best meetup I've been to. I've read several books before to understand the basics but this one bags the award.
