Golden Gate Fields Photo Day

Golden Gate Fields is hosting another photo day coming up. There will be multiple events this year. I attended this event last year and had a ton of fun. There is a lot of walking around and the weather changes from morning to afternoon, so wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to hike around a good bit.
The morning portion is an orientation and a chance to shoot the morning workouts, then there was a break from about 10:30 to 1:00 when the real tour started. We were finished by about 3:30.
Note that this event is hosted by the track. TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE TRACK. THEY USUALLY SELL OUT, SO BUY YOUR TICKETS ASAP. THE COST IS $27.95 (INCLUDING FEES)

Finally, gain exclusive access to snap photos in the paddock, shoot the horses as they break from the gate, and more.
The All-Access Photo Day Package includes admission and program for one, buffet breakfast, and a press credential to access morning workouts, special behind the scenes photo opportunities and the races.

4/27 is Survivor - Mud Run which I will participate in. I will have to miss this event. Sounds VERY fun!!!! You mentioned there are other events at the track. Are there other photo days?
