Photograph the Golden Gate Bridge from Battery Spencer

I am planning a trip to photograph the Golden Gate Bridge from the Marin Headlands side. Anyone else who's interested is welcome to join. I would recommend dressing in layers as the weather this time of year fluctuates greatly. I am hoping for clear, blue skies but one never knows :)
Gear:
Tripod
Something heavy to stabilize your tripod - most have a hook that hangs underneath
Bubble level - if your tripod doesn't have one built in. They can be very helpful
Camera and favorite lenses - wide angle are best
This meetup coincides with another group's meetup - shooting the city lights from Treasure Island. I will be attending that meetup as well. I have purposely planned it this way to ensure we get the most out of our gas tanks :)

We are up the road slightly from Battery Spencer. We are at the 3rd overlook parking area because the Battery Spencer lot was overflowing. I am in a gold Prius.

Highs are projected in the mid 50's tomorrow, so dress warmly. This is more of an informal meetup as I don't have a lot of landscape experience.
