Capturing December Photo-A-Day Challenge: 12/1/12-12/31/12

As the year comes to a close and the winter months rain on our parade, I was trying to think of something to keep us all active and shooting even though it may not be practical to plan any sort of outdoor meetup. Plus, with all of the Holiday parties, it can be rough trying to get a block of time for yourself.
Most of us are familiar with the 365 Challenge - taking 1 photo per day for 365 days - but that's a little too daunting of a project for me to tackle just yet. I ran across this challenge when perusing Pinterest the other day and I thought it might be fun.
The object is to take a photo that represents the subject for the day. At the end, we can share our best photos. Since the album for this meetup won't be created until after the meetup is over, I've started one already under the Photos tab.
This is a just-for-fun sort of thing, and the photos can be taken with your point and shoot, your camera phone, your DSLR, or whatever method you have handy when something strikes you. They can be quick snapshots, or full on productions - it's completely up to you!
I hope this list inspires you to continue shooting through the Holidays and the dreary weather.

Hi Everyone! I'm so excited to see some additional participation in this event. There have been some beautiful submissions for this project already. Don't forget to upload yours! Remember, they can be shot with your DSLR, Point & Shoot, or trusty cell phone camera (I know a few of mine are!). Let's aim to get them posted by the 8th - 1 week after it ends
