Introduction

Hi! I'm Rod from Pleasanton. I have a Nikon DSLR and would like to join a group of amateur photographers interested in having fun taking great photos. It would be a bonus if I can learn more and more about taking good photos. I love digital!

Tell us about yourself: your name, location, what you like to photograph etc.

This is Rod from Pleasanton. I like to photograph night city scenes, marine shots, and portraits. I'm still a "student" in digital photography and willing to learn more quality techniques.

Are you a hobbyist, part-timer, or full-time photographer?

I am a hobbyist with an interest in eventual microstock success to support my "photography habit"! :-}

Are you interested in photography workshops?

Yes, photography workshops are of interest, depending on location, timing, and cost.

What is your passionate area of photography? (Architectural, Landscape, Portrait, Macro, Fashion...)

Any phototaking near water - sailing, city scenes, beach scenes, and lighthouses.

Hi, I am sorry the group is closing. I believe it is not easy to organize people together, THANKS Adrian. BUT, why don't have at least group of 2-3-4-5 people (even women only), just to get together? I live in Walnut Creek, am European, love fun ....(I like to go to Glide in San Fran, Berkeley-Ashkenaz, etc).
Let me know if you wish just to have a small group ? in the beginning just for coffee, walks, etc. [masked]
