Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) is an integrative mind-body healing technique that combines elements of classic psychotherapy, tapping on acupressure meridian points, and universal concepts of love and acceptance to heal physical and emotional imbalances.
The beauty of EFT is its simplicity. Anybody can do it, and it can help relieve a broad range of issues such as stress, post traumatic stress disorders, depression, anxiety, addictions, sleep disturbances, relationship issues, weight concerns/eating disorders etc. In fact, most practitioners say you can tap on anything. It is not, however, intended to replace medical advice/treatments.
Ultimately, the goal of EFT is as a self-help tool. Sometimes, however, guidance and support can be useful. The circles are a good opportunity for us to work on patterns we want to change, and/or things we want to manifest more of in our lives, in a fun and safe setting. People new to EFT are welcome, as well as seasoned practitioners who want a group setting to practice in.
