East Bay Futurists: Social networks are vital

From: Scott J.

Hello Futurists,

I am reading Connected: The surprising power of social networks and have become more convinced than ever that it is vital to carefully cultivate our social networks. Our emotions and ideas are deeply impacted by those we socialize with. Spending time with people interested in the future is a great way to augment your social life (and thus yourself).

I would like to see more people get involved in this group. Please submit your suggestions as to how to make the meetings more inviting.

Would a different time or place be more convenient for you?
Do you find that the topics of discussion are not compelling?

I have already met a lot of intelligent people whose different perspectives have helped me broaden and enrich my own world view. I look forward to meeting more of you.
