I'm trying to acquire the skills and understanding to do small projects with micro-controllers for things like home automation and custom lighting and gadgets
I've been an avid reader on Anandtech and Reddit for a few years and my recent interest in electronics led me to r/electronics. Hackerspaces are highly regarded there so I sought one out near me (Concord area)
Limited experience... build my PCs from bare parts, installed my car stereo and fabbed the speakerboxes from fiberglass, and am generally a gadget geek.
I am an aspiring electronics geek. Aspiring to learn Arduino, basic electronics, soldering, coding... which language is TBD
