Join us on one of the best hiking destinations in California. Only an hour from the Bay, we will camp overnight at the coveted Wildcat Campground in the south part of Pt. Reyes National Seashore. The campground is located in an open meadow on a bluff overlooking the ocean with a short walk to the beach. It is a mile hike south on the beach to view the impressive Alamere Falls.
Wildcat is a pleasant 5.5 mile hike in on one of the best stretches of trail in Northern California from Palomarin trailhead, passing by Pelican and Bass Lakes on the way. Plenty of wildflowers and open views of the coastline highlight this hike.
Let the peace and rhythm of nature sink into your being as stress melts away. We will offer Contact Yoga, Thai Massage, and teachable nature moments along the trail. Singing around the campfire at night while taking in the starry night sky. This is a great trip to get away for a night and fall asleep to the sound of the waves and wake up to birds singing. Starting the day with morning meditation and yoga on the beach.
Once we get a feel for how many people are going we can plan out what everyone can bring so we can make a menu and have group meals. Alok is a seasoned guide and outdoor educator as well as a wilderness first responder, so please email with any questions or concerns.
