No one likes to hang out alone...especially me. I'm a member of other meet-ups but being single and a parent (and unbelievably cool :-) ) I miss out due to conflicts with my parental calendar. Also, let's face it, it's really tough to make friends after a certain age especially when kids are involved and you are not originally from the area. So I figure, why not start my own meet-up and catch people on the fly? This group is not about dating, not about social networking, not about one particular interest...it's just about finding a group of people to hang out with.  After that?  Well that's up to you.  Let's just start by forming a new tribe out here in the East Bay.

I live in Concord but work in Oakland so  activities might be anywhere from Oakland all they way back to Walnut Creek. Perhaps to SF if there is interest. I have no set criteria other than to create an atmosphere where everyone can feel at ease to socialize. Whether 2 or 50 people want to join, it's all good. Although I had to pick "what we are about," this group is open to all.

PS - if you are a band, actor, performer, etc...please do not use my Meet-up to advertise your shows.  EBB is about organizing events to get together to socialize, not finding paying customers. Thank you.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
