The Cohasset Snuff Film:
In 2009, the small town of Cohasset, Massachusetts was rocked with tragedy. A 17-year-old high school senior named Collin Mason murdered three classmates. All the murders were videotaped. Collin uploaded the video to the Internet, and for three days, the world viewed the murders of these three innocent teens. Through legal action, the parents of the victims were able to remove all footage from the Internet. The impact of this video is still being felt in Cohasset today. Bootleg copies of this footage are still passed around and downloaded through illegal means. The video has become infamous, and is now referred to as The Cohasset Snuff Film.

"The Cohasset Snuff Film is really everything it sets out to be -- it is a sickening and harrowing excursion into a dark and twisted mind -- it is the first time I've looked away from a horror film in quite some time -- and on top of that, the production is well executed"
"The Cohasset Snuff Film" is shocking and brutal to watch and over all, it achieves its purpose in becoming skin crawling and in offering an intriguing and watchable examination of the mind behind such horror." -Jesse Miller Morehorror.com

"The great thing about “The Cohasset Snuff Film” is its raw intensity. There are no jump scares or cheesy twists. It’s less of a descent into madness as it is being just thrown into the mix right before shit goes down—and shit does go down".

"This film is grounded in reality and the murders are real. Some mad props go to these actors who certainly had trust in director Edward Payson and believed in this project. Their trust will no doubt be rewarded as this film will certainly be getting some pretty big attention in the near future. I say that with no hesitation, because this film has all of the right pieces to be an underground hit".- L.A.HORROR

"A look into a serial killers mind and something that blows the horror genre wide open.
This film is sure to cause some controversy".- Back At The Movies UK

Past halloween world premiere, L.A. fans loved it! Nov. 8th Massachussette fans responded the same. Both crowds filled with questions about the film. after their screenings. #THECOHASSET SNUFFFILM
