Movie Night, Castro Valley

We've got some regulars who come - and then some of you pop in or bring friends.  We have a lively discussion afterwards - we start with the movie, and jump off on tangents about topics like empaths, intuition, challenges of indigo-ness, evil, illness, sleeping (as in not being able to, not as in sex - not yet anyway), near death experiences.

We'll be selecting a great movie that all of us will enjoy and can stimulate some good discussions afterward. We've watched "Dead Poet's Society", "What Dreams May Come", "Beasts of the Southern Wild", "Saint Ralph".  I'm looking at "The Way" or ?? Send me some ideas of movies - my criteria are that violence has at most a minor supporting role, and it's stimulating / challenging.  If you wish, bring along a snack.  I'll have popcorn and lemonade (fresh from our lemon tree, mind you!).  Space is limited so sign up soon!

Bring a buck - it'll inspire me to pay for the next 6 months hosting!

I'm cutting off the sign ups at 5:30 PM the day of the movie, only because I need to get back to you with the address, and I'll be running around making lemonade and cleaning after 5:30.

The movie was great, and it felt good to be there. But after it was over, one of the guests, not listed here, gathered up every thought, and using deception with 'good sounding' manipulation, kept us listening to him for hours. I felt that nearly every value, was extracted from me, with no fair exchange. I was just a tool for him to use, and absolutely disappointed.

This was a guest who was delighted to experience other indigo type people, and was extremely enthusiastic and nervous. Next movie I'll manage the discussion better so all have a chance to share.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
