We're getting together for the inaugural East Bay MongoDB meetup at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 26th!
Whether you're just learning about MongoDB for the first time or whether you're a MongoDB ninja, we'd love for you to come out and hang with us for our first meetup. We've put together an event that will be a great experience for everyone!
The event is being hosted by VSCO (http://vsco.co) and will be hosted in our office in Emeryville.
We will be sharing our experiences with rolling out a Mongo DB cluster into production and how it has scaled for us.
Brandon from MongoDB will be presenting "Introduction to Sharding"
Ms. Chacha Sikes will be talking about how they used Mongo and its Geospatial indexing to map water rights and wells for the New California Water Atlas. (http://ca.statewater.org/, @CAWaterAtlas.)
Stick around afterwards for lively discussions and networking and for dinner from the Chairman Truck and goodies from Sketch.
Please RSVP as we have limited space.
