We had a great meeting last month. A bunch of both beginners and practitioners got together and worked on anchoring. We also talked about the future of the group. We agreed on a few things:
- We would meet monthly.
- We'd start every meeting with an advanced practitioner doing a short talk and demo, followed by a chance for everyone to practice.
- If there were enough people, we'd split into two groups. Beginners would practice together with some facilitation, and practitioners would work together as they wanted.
- Anyone who is an advanced practitioner and demonstrates some commitment to the ongoing life of the group is welcome to choose a meeting to share a technique or do a talk. Speak to Leslie Nipps, organizer, if you are interested in doing that.
- We are still working out some location and time issues, but for consistency, for now, we will be meeting at the Golden Gate Branch of the Oakland Library. For more info, click on the link below.
We have scheduled our next meeting on November 16th: Re-Framing: Theory & Practice for H?
If you have any questions or thoughts for the group, let me know. The best thing, though, is just to show up and participate. So RSVP today!!
