EAST BAY OVER 40 SINGLES
MARKETPLACE, Monthly Newsletter
Issue No. 1, November 1, 2012
Welcome to our first monthly newsletter!
In our numerous encounters with our members, we found that we are all in different stages in our lives or careers. To further address our members’ needs, we have created the Marketplace Monthly Newsletter, so we will know what is available in our Meetup community.
We encourage our members to cc the core leadership team (Dianne, Nikki and Kitty) when sending your classifieds for our newsletter. Your postings could be of tremendous help and interest to our members in our Meetup community.
Please be brief and include your contact info. We plan to publish the newsletter at the beginning of each month.
Please, no spam or personal ads.
Many thanks to our members for the richness, diversity of talents, experience, and interests that everyone contributes during our events. We thank you for supporting our vision for our group, and helping us make this group as one of the most active Meetup groups in the Bay Area.

“No job too big or too small”
Rick’s Flooring Installation has over 30 years experience in the
Flooring trade. The emphasis of work has mostly been in the
commercial division, however RCS can scale to any job size. RCS has
installed carpet, tile, linoleum and hardwood floors in most major
hotels throughout the Midwest and here in California.
Rick Rodriguez did the floor in our kitchen this in the Summer of
2012. While the job was not “huge” from a square footage
perspective….only a couple of hundred square feet…he treated the job
like it was much larger. Not only was he well priced, his work was
outstanding. He showed up early every morning and completed the job
in less time than we had even hoped he would. His work was top notch
and I can’t imagine we would hire anyone else in the future. Our job,
in particular, had some challenges with an uneven floor that was not a
“standard” type of job and he worked around the challenges without any
complaints. He even moved a very large 48 inch range so he could tile
under it since he felt that would make the kitchen feel “more
finished” than leaving it undone. Rick is very ethical person and you
get the sense that his word is his contract…and he treats you that
way. I never felt uncomfortable leaving him on the house when I was
gone, which is not how we normally would operate. I highly recommend
Rick for any tile jobs you might have.
