Saturday Afternoon Soccer - Berkeley (3:00pm) [GROVE PARK]

Hey Everyone,

Now that the weather is better we can move back to natural grass and avoid the grass field at Washington Elementary so that we can accommodate everyone on a decent field. As long as we get at least 8 RSVPs for a game then we'll play so make sure to RSVP if you plan on attending.

Also, if you plan on attending and there's no event host listed for the game, if you'd be willing to help coordinate the game (make sure there's a ball to play, help decide how/if to split into smaller groups, answer any questions for new members, etc.) then please let me know so we can make sure the games go smoothly.

- Haydn

P.S. Bring a light- and dark-colored shirt if possible to make it easier to split up into teams.

Yeah guys, if you get 8+ then definitely go ahead and play! Just be careful out there. I'll go scout some other fields around that time so we can find a replacement soon. Enjoy the game!

Hey Everyone, this field is starting to get patchy and harder to play on so it would be good if we could find a better field to play on. Someone suggested Underhill at UC Berkeley as an option - can anyone else confirm that it is available around the same time (or let us know when's the best time to play there)? Thanks.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
