• hone your technical and tactical skills
• have fun in a small sided game with plenty of touches

*Games are 8 minutes long or first team to 2 goals, whichever happens first. No team can play more than 2 games back to back.

• No guest RSVPs (meaning if you want to bring someone along to play, that person has to sign-up at Meetup.com, join East Bay Pickup Soccer as a member and RSVP for this meetup)

• Although we encourage a competitive game, no aggressive play is allowed including slide tackling. If you'll be warned and the 2nd time (red card), you'll not be allowed back.

• To be fair, we ask everyone to cancel their RSVP no later than 12 hours before the meetup so that someone on the waiting list can have a spot.

• If you're a no-show (RSVP "yes I'm attending" but don't show up), you won't be allowed to attend the following week. Sorry but because of high demand we need to ensure the integrity of the rsvp list

• If you're on the wait list, we cannot guarantee playing time, sorry!

• If you can, throw a few bucks ($5-$10) in to pay for the purchased equipment (futsal balls, goals, and vests).

Now we understand that things happen (traffic, etc) that may cause you to be late, so if you let us know beforehand, that is OK. However, do not just show up late and expect your spot to be reserved just because you signed up. To enforce this rule, we will NOT LET PEOPLE TAKE THEIR SPOTS AFTER 8:00 am

We play as long as there are 6+ players unless the group decides otherwise. You can wear any kind of shoes however be careful when running if you use cleats.

This game is recommended for Intermediate to advanced players. If you're a beginner it is advisable to look for some other game instead.

(IMPORTANT) RULES:

However, if there is a proper reason for you cancelling at a late timing, you MUST inform the hosts or post a comment, OTHERWISE you will be marked as A NO SHOW if you cancel at late timing and not provide any reason. This is done in fairness to people on the wait list.
• If you're a NO-SHOW (RSVP "yes I'm attending" but don't show up),
  you WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND the next time you RSVP for a game.
• If you're on the wait list, we CANNOT guarantee playing time. If you decide to come regardless and if every player on the main list is present (please check below the 15 minute rule), you will not be allowed to play unless someone from the main list gives you their spot.
• If you do not show up BY 15 MINUTES OF THE START TIME, someone else on the wait list will take your spot. However, if you know you will be late, you MUST inform the hosts or post a comment to ENSURE your spot.

This pickup is for all ages and all skill levels! It's a bit different than your typical pickup game. This is an anti-capitalist pickup game so it's not about winning but about playing equity. We encourage sharing of the ball and giving players enough space to play. Masks may be required depending on who's playing.

There will be a circle up before the game to go over rules.
